Right next to each other, but no wonder that the latest volume would place the best. Now it's a matter of how long these volumes can stay on the list before the next volumes come out in the following months. If all of them can stay on then that's an awful lot of manga volumes to have on that list.

Hopefully, when they get up to the most recent chapters (or even now), I do hope that they give this treatment to some other great mangas (namely OP, and probably JJA. Actually for JJA, I think it is better if they for part one, and probably part II in some big edition way (I like they did w/ RK, and DB, 3 Volumes per book, that would be awesome)

The close rankings suggest that people are pretty much buying all 4 books at the same time. Meaning they could afford or are affording all 4 books at once, instead of one at a time. Make of that what you will.

If Viz bothered to push their other titles, they would be on the list too. Naruto,Bleach, and Death Note won't be popular forever.

Somehow I had thought that if the Bleach anime was popular, then the manga should be as well. Evidently by looking at who is doing what, Naruto has been the one to pull out ahead of Bleach. Either way, both series are popular enough in terms of anime.

cnav: While the FMA manga might not have sold as well, the anime is one of the strongest anime properties here in the US. Besides, Viz has the FMA manga volumes released only 2 behind the Japanese release schedule. That's pretty incredible.
And Yen Press owns the Soul Eater manga, and Funimation owns the anime of it. Viz has nothing to do with SE.
Daimao Raki: I disagree. The only title I could see possibly achieving that kind of success would be One Piece, but I think Viz slowed the manga release because of the damage 4Kids was doing. Now, when Funi got the anime, then yes, they should have speed up the manga release.
Any other title, save maybe Fruits Basket (which is almost done anyway, so no point there), wouldn't suddenly bring in tons of readers just because there's a lot of volumes on the bookstore shelves. Heck, if anything, seeing so many volumes at once might scare off potential buyers because of the massive length.
Naruto already had a huge audience before Viz began rushing out volumes, this is just them making more profit. And if they make more profit, they can stay in business, finish other series, and license new series. That should be good enough for us. When they start cancelling manga, then you can start complaining.
