ClariS and Kalafina are returning to sing theme songs for the Madoka Magica movies. Now I know that this movie will be even more awesome. Can't wait!
This is going to be epic win!

Always to happy to have more music by Kalafina. So it'll be October for the first PMMM movie and November for 3.33? That's pretty awesome.

I still am wondering exactly what the deal with the movies will be. I know the third will be a new story of some sort (maybe an alt ending like End of Evangelion or something), but the first two will retell the series. Will it be just edited clips from the series like Death;Rebirth, or will it be a full recreation like Evangelions 1.11 and 2.22?
...Really, how many similarities to Eva can Madoka have?
Either way I look forward to the movies. The series was spectacular.

it'll also be interesting to see the quality of this as well because it is Studio Shaft's first film, and Shaft is well known for, well, 'Shafting' their works in their original television runs and then making it look really really nice for the DVD/Blu-Ray releases.

It should be noted that the Kalafina singers sang for Kajiura Yuki before.
Also, it has been mentioned that these films are most likely to be simply edited compilation of the series, with some minor additions and changes in the animation, and some minor deviance in the actual story, though, it's not meant to change the story itself--just to change some minor events. And the third movie takes place AFTER the TV series' ending. That, we've known for a while now. =3

All of Kalafina's music is by Yuki Kajiura. It's organized by her.

Yeah, sorry. To clarify, I actually meant to say that FictionJunction Keiko and FictionJunction Wakana are members of... well, FictionJunction--which is Kajiura Yuki's previous main group of singers. Hikaru is the only new singer founded for Kalafina.
