Given that The Anime Network VOD and online probably give them access to more homes than will subscribe to Neon Alley, I doubt it.

Although $6.99 a month isn't a bad price point, it all depends on what shows, (I only have the Wii, so it'll be a moot point if it's another system).

That's on-par with regular cable channels (or some premiums when on sale.) It just means the onus will be heavily on them to deliver comparable content.

There is also the question whether something priced like people are used to cable channels being priced and delivered like people are used to stuff being delivered on cable will work when its not on cable.
Its an experiment in putting old wine in new bottles. Short odds that it will fail, long odds that it will succeed.
