I love Rie Kugimiya's drawing, reminds me of one of the funny faces in Fairy Tail.

It was fun, somewhat difficult to draw. Here's my contribution: http://rousteinire.deviantart.com/art/Social-Kingdom-305772719

I would like to add that he made a really dynamic scene, too. |

It's a cool promotional campaign. (Reminds us kinda like right after 9/11.) Just too bad they have to use another country's history to do it with.

Looking at Oda's panel better, I noticed that the severed head on the bottom-left was of the man on the horse on the bottom-right... So much acting in the background, other than on the foreground, is something only Oda and few other artists can achieve, he truly is an outstanding mangaka. °_°
Furthermore, the way the main character is drawn makes it jump out from the panel: it's like looking to four different planes (his hand, the character's body and head, his arm farther from the viewer, and the background... which is split in more different plans if you really look at it... amazing, really amazing). And I don't even want to start talking about the panel composition... |

It took a couple of tries, but my panel finally went through. Are they publishing a physical copy of the redrawn volume 26 or just submitting it for the record? Either way, it's a neat campaign idea.

Man, can't look at that first pic without seeing Luffy in it.
Kishimoto's design kinda looks like Inoue's stuff... ... ... whoa! Speak of the devil! |

Inoue Takehiko's version is my favorite as usual. But LOL, I didn't know Yoko Hikasa can draw XDDD

Not really. Despite the obvious similarities (or did you expected Oda to draw in a different style just because?), the eyes are quite different, and I'm not talking about their shape but their pupils. |

We get it, really. Now, kindly knock it off with your knee-jerk Oda defense. The guy has his flaws, which deserve to be criticized. In fact he has a lot of them, but these glaring deficiencies are always conveniently explained away by OP fans. DTJB criticisms were spot on. |

First of all, having a distinctive drawing style and using it in a project like this isn't a "fault". Secondly, which are Oda's "glaring deficiencies"? P.S. Kishimoto's redesign of the character (which I find good) looks just like Naruto without whiskers and with black hair. Just saying. |
