I have a feeling it'll be an alternate timeline. Minato and Kushina might be alive in this one, Madara didn't get his costume change, the other members of the Akatsuki were in the trailer (including Hidan, who wasn't resurected), and Hinata and Ino seemed to have switched personalities if the poster is any indication.

That could be interesting to see how everything would change.. with Nauro's parents alive, Naruto never becomes outcasted and interacts with other children more. He meets Hinata as a young kid like in his flashback and rather than kept away from her, he's known as Minato's son so they become friends. Then being friends with her as a child helps her grow up to be more confident in herself rather than the wallflower she is if she didn't have friends growing up.

I doubt Hinata is being given that much screen time. Anyway, if the fourth hokage is alive, then I wonder what happened to the Uchiha. If he's going for alternate timeline, then why not go the whole 10 yards and make it so Itachi's actions were not needed.

Uh, where is the idea that this is an alternate timeline coming from? It seems like it's just a retelling to me.
But it has Kushina, so I wanna see it!
