On a side note...is there a good way to keep track of when Amazon.ca is having a sale? Noticed around xmas I got a few volumes of this and that manga for around $5 a pop, but there was no real mention of it anywhere...Tried checking the "50% off or more" and such on the side, but that includes the marketplace...and they're always cheaper + shipping, making them more expensive
Not sure if this would be the right post to add to, but figured I'd try here instead of making a new post specifically for this. |

Japan:
http://animanganpn.web.wox.cc/ I have already used this site a couple of times. This one is quite different. You gotta know what you wanna get in advance, but if you do, I recommend this site. I won't say what I got (because I can't... some of them ), but sure you can get things you can't find online, things you struggle to find and things you wanna buy secretly. What I like most is that everything is packed in one box. First, send them the request for quotation and then you will get the total price including shipping fee and payment detail. After your payment, they ship out the things. Their service level is quite decent though. (at least much better than major retailers') |

Seems like a cool site. Not a big fan of having to order at least 5 things though. I mean you could make it 1 you really want + 4 small tiny things, but it's still extra money.

OTACUTE is closing
that's a shame IMPORTANT NOTICE With much regret and great sadness we wish to advise that Otacute will be closing for business. We sincerely apologize for the sudden notification and will do our very best to ensure a smooth closing. Of course, we intend to honor all running pre-orders with us. Based on the release dates for running pre-orders we expect the website to be operating up to around October, but this may change depending on manufacturing delays and so forth. As for immediate adjustments, we plan to stop advertizing and accepting pre-orders over the next couple of weeks and plan to stop accepting all new pre-orders and back-orders by May 31. In-stock products can still be purchased while we are operating. We would also like to note that we are accepting cancellations for products scheduled for release from September onwards. Any updates will be posted on this page. Your support and understanding is greatly appreciated. Taking this opportunity we would also like to thank all of our great customers. It has been a pleasure serving you and we thank you for your fantastic support over the years. Without you the running of Otacute would never have been possible. Thank you from everyone at Otacute. Please feel free to contact us [email protected] if you have any questions. One again thank you for your fantastic support. OTACUTE |

Not sure if this is the right place, but I'd just like to plug our site - we're a UK based web retailer, currently specialising in UC Gundam kits, but will be looking to move into other lines soon.
