Almost all characters in FT has losses, some have 90% + ratio like Laxus, Gildarts & Erza, while others have respectable high rates like Natsu, Grey & Juvia (Above 70%, I will say), while Lucy & Wendy get most of their wins in group fights and have to fight tooth & nail during their solo fights.
tldr.- I think that Wendy has it worse than Lucy, so I find it funny how much the reviewer obsseses about Lucy's fights. |
It'd be especially funny if the reviewer rage-quits the episode where Lucy wins her rematch with Mimi because of how it's made to look like she's lost at first. (manga stuff)
Even funnier is how Lucy winds up becoming maybe too badass after this.

Nice to see Lucy get a win this week since she seems to usually get the short end of the stick in fights. Though thinking about it now, it seems like Erza has been short changed.

Did anyone else think Virgo sounded strange in today's episode? I don't recall this being an issue in previous episodes, so I'm a bit perplexed. At first, I wondered if she had been recast, but "Ultear" and "Ur" also appear in this episode and they sounded normal. All three characters have been voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro in the past, so it seems unlikely that they'd recast only 1 of her roles. Maybe I'm imagining things, but Virgo's absurdity is one of my favorite running gags in Fairy Tail, so I don't think I'd make that mistake.
Next week is the finale. I feel like Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest started off strong, but I've been a little disappointed as the season progressed. Like, ever since the 2nd cour began, I've enjoyed it less, but I don't know why. The humor has been on point from start to finish, the character development (especially when it comes to romance) has been decent enough, the callbacks have been nostalgic, and some of the new characters are really fun, but something about this 2nd cour has been rubbing me the wrong way. Has anyone else felt similarly, or is it just me?
I wasn't expecting Selene to lose, but she'll probably survive and return next season. I suppose she could be killed off next week, but it seems unlikely that Natsu and gang wouldn't get a chance to fight her. I feel like her (probable) survival is a good thing because there seems to be more to her than I originally expected. I'm not sure how I feel about this Alta Face thing, though.

The Moonlight Divinities have always been one of my favorite Fairy Tail baddie group because they're all-women and they're just fun in general. I especially like Mimi and Hakune.
I have to at least respect Selene's commitment to being a female hedonist and treating her all-female retinue to manservice and good drink.
I didn't realize it before but both Gray and Hakune are ice-themed mages who strip for battle.
The moment when you realize Miyuki Sawashiro voices three characters in Fairy Tail and Mashima can't resist bringing Ultear back. But jeez, what a horrible thing to make Gray endure.
I guess I would take it pretty personally if I faced off against someone who had eaten my son and was wielding him like a sword too.
Hope JC Staff delivers on the "Final Boss" battle.
