Next to no exposure? I take it you don't follow gaming news sites, because pretty much every outlet has covered Indivisible to a huge degree. The game already has a demo on the PS4 for goodness sake. If (when?) it fails to hit its goal, it won't be because no one has heard of the game or where it's being funded. It'll be because there aren't $1.5 million worth of people interested. As for why, Indiegogo likely takes a lower cut than Kickstarter. Some other campaigns have indicated IGG supports their projects better, and Lab Zero has already ran a successful campaign for Skullgirls DLC on there. |

XCX: I have officially stopped caring about people crying "censorship" in regards to Nintendo, mostly because those claiming such a thing clearly don't understand what censorship actually means. Furthermore, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that those criticizing willingly-made editing would decry the game as perverted or sleazy had they kept that outfit in. Of course, that's before we get into the biggest elephant in the room: it doesn't change anything meaningful. It's one costume. That's it; it is not some important plot element or a key character trait, it was just a costume sexualizing a girl that would be legally underage outside of Japan. Gamers just love to cry wolf every week and then wonder why no one takes them seriously.
SFV: Dhalsim definitely has one sweet beard. And I do hope Alex comes back as I miss his fighting style. GG: Eh, Dizzy's alright; she's a major character and having her sooner rather than later does open the door plot-wise. What I REALLY want to know is what the hell characters like Baiken and Testament have been up to, especially considering how the Japanese colonies are implied to be up to shady things in Xrd and what Testament would do considering Dizzy's status as the (unofficial) wife of an Illyrian king. KOFXIV: Gameplay seems to be fine at least, though presentation is still lacking. I just want SNK to give up on Garou 2 already and put Rock into the roster. Indivisible: I'll commend the artist for getting from shameless fanservice, but I don't see the appeal of the game. Skullgirls was just average and I doubt they can really do something as complex as Valkyrie Profile meets MetroidVania. |

I'm unsure that's applicable in this scenario. That bikini is not unlike what teenage girls wear at the pool or beaches here. Bikinis generally are not designed for swimming, they're primarilly for fashion. One-pieces are better to wear for swimming for girls, and why the school swim teams here wear them. Though I also see teenagers here wear skirts and shorts that show off the bottom curves of their buttocks and undderwear. It might just be a cultural thing you see in more liberal contries, where as the US is more conservative in that regard. |

When it comes to beach and pool wear, America is not conservative. |

Oh my god, the author called something sexist. Unironically.
The author doesn't read comments, or they would probably realize this is nonsense. Sexy outfits are fun. That's it. No harm done. Get over yourself. It's time to hire someone with a different point of view. Or point us to a website that isn't written by puritans. |

I thought Nintendo of Europe edited this, not NOA. I thought our Western/Northern European friends were more "enlightened" than us "stupid Americans, with our guns and obesity". Anyway, like I said before, CERO tends not to tolerate gore, so even "CERO Z" games have low gore.
Also to the guy who said this game should be "M" for sex, why is a children's/teenager's game in America rated CERO Z? inFamous isn't violent in the slightest, yet is rated CERO Z. If you wanna be ultra technical, CERO and Japan are far harsher on western games than the latter on Japanese games and that's a fact. |

Ohh boy even more controversy over censorship, however this time it's in a T rated game. I knew that Xenoblade Chronicles was going to be censored, after seeing screen-caps/webm's of that outfit. I'm not saying i'm for censorship but this edit had to be done so it can be localized in other countries.
Now, countries Like Sweden, Denmark, Australasia and Norway have very strict child porn laws. Now These said countries out-right banned dead or alive 3ds. There reasoning?? You could take snaps of what they deemed to be underage 3d models as Child Porn. We are just going to have accept the fact if a game in japan has sexulaized characters there is a high chance that it will be edited/censored for a western release now. http://www.nintendolife.com/forums/3ds/dead_or_alive_dimensions_banned_in_sweden_norway_and_denmark http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2011/06/dead_or_alive_dimensions_pulled_from_sale_in_australia |

Why is it such a shock to find an unironic accusation of sexism and call for a termination of anyone who says such a thing? Sexism is real. |

Not if you're one of the ironic headcases that actually supports gamergate and all the things they've done for the like the last two years or so. |

Aside from having already worked with IndieGoGo in the past, Lab Zero Games stuck with IndieGoGo because it allows them access to their money so long as they reach their minimum goal. If, for example, they had reached it two days into their campaign, then they'd have been able to start using it to work on creating Indivisible. Had they gone to Kickstarter, they'd have had to wait until the end of the campaign to use their money, no matter how soon they'd have reached their goal. |

Whenever the topic of sexuality in video games pops up people always quickly jump onto some kind of America VS Japan debate, but very rarely does it actually apply here. You can find a torrent of skimpily dressed females on the PlayStation. Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Tales, Onechanbara, Omega Quintet, Neptunia. Sony has absolutely no qualms with showcasing girls of various ages from kids to adults in bikinis or torn cloths. The only games that get censored are some of the ones that NIS releases which, according to some other companies, didn't have to really be censored to begin with.
American media is just as sexualized as well. Music videos, television, and most importantly, real life, have little problem showcasing the female body. The issue is purely one for video games. Don't mistake a vocal minority of complainers in the video game hemisphere as some kind of viewpoint for American culture as a while. Americans love sex just as much as anyone else, but in the video game world it's a taboo subject. No, the fault here relies entirely on Nintendo. Sony has no problem with the underage Rikku running around in a bikini and constantly flashing her panties in the FFX2 HD Remix. It's purely an issue with Nintendo. Not "America" as a whole. -Stuart Smith |

There's a large difference in a 17-year-old (Rikku's official age in FFX-2) and a 12-year-old (the character's age in XCX). |

I don't honestly think that difference has anything to do with the changes that were made to XCX though. Since it likely would've still happened had the character been as old as Rikku...that's kind of how wishy-washy Nintendo can be. |

I have to agree with this. This is the same company that censored a pretty tame picture of Tharja in the last Fire Emblem. Her age isn't listed at all, and she doesn't look underage. https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--xWEmCQVl--/c_fill,fl_progressive,g_north,h_358,q_80,w_636/18mh2vvu82yrtjpg.jpg |

Like I said before, this is from the Europeans. Blame them, please.
