Yoko Hikasa has somewhat been typecast in LN-based anime like the following: Aesthetica's Miu, Campione's Erica, Hataraku Maou-sama!'s Emi, and Infinite Stratos' Houki.

I wonder what the creator would've thought with the cast choices. If I had a series based off of a title I created, I would be really picky for the cast choices and might even ask fans who they think would pick good choices.

This is the first time I've heard of this show. As a fan of American cartoons and an English learner, I'll definitely be checking it out. I hope it's as good as Daria.

Be forewarned though: it's way different to Daria, probably even going the opposite way.

Wouldn't that lead to a copyright problem? I mean, I want the 2D animation at the level of UFOTABLE animation just as much as you do.

Same here. I have no idea how that could work, given the relative rarity of multinational collab'd anime series. Still, if you're gonna dream: go big or go home. I'd love to see this.
