Um... let me draw your attention to my previous post, wherein it is clearly written:
abunai wrote: | The closest you get to the original common Nordic language is in Iceland, on the Faeroe Islands, or in Western Norway. |
Ahem. "Det første, man bliver blind på, er øjnene...." as we say in Denmark.

You Swedes are just jealous 'cause we get all the girls.

I blame the alchohol - posting after taking a five hour exam, and drowning one's sorrows in the local pub, is usually not the best of ideas

That'd explain your pronounciation

As long as they're platinas, perhaps

I like maths just fine, up to a point. I reached that point, back in the day, with tensor calculus and introductory quantum mechanics. My head still hurts from thinking about that.

I grew bored around the introduction of Pythagoras' theorem back in the days A month with nothing but functionstudies didn't help make maths any funnier, alas.

Hello, everyone.
I've been an animation fan since the '80s. Grew up watching Transformers and Voltron, then later migrated into Japanese anime with movies and series like Grave of the Fireflies, Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, and Ghost in the Shell.
Presently, I work for an insurance company. Asides from work, I'm usually gaming, watching movies or anime, reading, and writing down ideas and stories.
Right now, my anime collection is rather sizeable and still growing. I mostly buy box-sets, mainly because they are more expensive but give you everything you could need in one package at the best price.
I am also a collector of anime-related and bishojo computer games, and owner of two game systems (PS2 and GameCube). My favorite genres are Adventure and RPG, and I prefer a great story over all else.
> Favorite Anime: Cowboy Bebop
> Favorite Character: Kiba (Wolf's Rain)
> Favorite Movie: Back to the Future, Part II
> Favorite Computer Game: Kana - Little Sister (which I wrote a review on; features the best story I've ever seen for an adventure game)
> Favorite Console Game - Adventure: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
> Favorite Console Game - RPG: tied between Final Fantasy X-2 and Chrono Cross.

Hello, the newest member here at the forums. I've been coming here for a while and finally decided to register, though it took me a while because of the bugs. I'm big-time into anime since Trigun, which is my fave, and go to the meetings of the local anime club almost every weekend when I'm in town.
Trigun's my fave but I also enjoy, among others, Master Keaton, Chobits, RahXephon(only seen 2 epiosdes, but I'm sold), Excel Saga, Wolf's Rain, Witch Hunter Robin, and Ronin Warriors.

Hi all, yet another newbie to the forums.
Statistics
Name: John
Age: 39 and holding
Height: 5'9" Weight: more that I should be...
Blood Type: O+ (much needed, donate yours if you can)
Married, 2 children (3.5 years and 16 months)

I've been an anime/manga fan since I had a tour over in Japan in 1988. The last few years here in the US have been great for anime/manga fans, and I hope it continues.
Oh yes, favorite shows: I have a soft spot in my heart for Cardcaptor Sakura, Chobits, and some of the other series from Clamp. Other shows: Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Sakura Wars, King of Bandit Jing, R.O.D., FLCL, Maico 2010, the entire .hack series, Last Exile, Jubei-chan, Pretear, and a couple of new shows: W-Wish, and Final Approach from PrincessSoft. Plus, the works of Hayao Miyazak, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi being my favorite.
