Oh man, sorry about all that, hope it gets better soon
Honetly the first 2 of these last 3 eps started to loose me mainly because Yoshino just started to feel like a mom. She doesn't like Kirishima (for good reason) and yet she's suggesting he stay over at her house and nagging Shoma about doing his homework.
And then at the aquarium it seems like she's starting to have feelings for Kirishima, since she absentmindedly points the camera at him. But why? He's done nothing for her to fall for him?
But then she got back into Osaka-mode and I'm invested again.
I got some misogyny vibes from the first episode with Nao, but the following episodes eased my fears a bit. I hope she makes it out ok, even if she has scary eyes.
Speaking of eyes, I noticed everyone get's round yellow eyes when mad. Even Shoma's blue square eyes becomes yellow and round!
I think Caitlins analysys of Kirishima makes sense and is good, but I don't think the show put that much thought into it since Yoshino reacts with a comedy tsukkomi to hearing this guy got sexually abused as a child
One thing really bothered me when Yoshino and Ozu was at the bar. How is she ordering non-alcoholic shochu but pretending it's normal when she's right in front of him? I figured maybe she went to the bar and ordered it there but then she asks for another shochu from the waiter! Does this bar not card people?
Also, unless I'm misremembering Nao said she dated Kirishima 5 years ago, and he's in his second or third year in high school meaning he was a middle schooler when they banged everyday
Edit; I checked and she said 3 years, so Kirishima was either in his last year of middle school or a high school first year.
I also noticed while he was wearing a school unifrom in all those flashbacks Nao was not. She's wearing a sailor uniform when someone asks about the guy who went to the same middle school as her, but when she and Krishima actually meet she's wearing casual clothes. Sure that could have just meant it was after school or the weekend, but I think it implies she was a college student when they had sex...

This kind of took me out of things too. The assumption I landed on was that she either arranged it before hand, or that being who she is, the staff know who she is, and know to serve her non-alcoholic drinks.

AFAIK, the NOT selling of alcoholic beverages to minors in Japan resides on trust alone and no "cards"*. So, if you ask for alcohol you're supposedly an adult because just adults can drink it.
* exactly, which card? Driving licenses are not that important in Japan, nor they have ID cards, like in some European countries.

People do occasionally check cards in Japan -- most people carry some kind of identifying document, even if they don't have the same ID system that some other countries do. However, it's rare, and underage drinking is very common.

So it occurs to me that while Kirishima might be fair game for these nit wits, Yoshino should be untouchable while in Osaka. Even if tweedledumb and tweedledee are oblivous, Ozu seems yakuza-adjacent enough to know that if she so much as breaks a nail because of them, they're all dead.

I feel like my girl Yoshino would be best served by having a male harem for herself while staying single and being the Queen Bitch of Osaka.
Kirishima and Shoma should immediately begin dating each other. That’s a relationship I can get behind.

This show is far from a conventional romance and in fact while Kirishima is obsessively in love with Yoshino (to a somewhat deranged degree) Yoshino still feels like she could take or leave them even though they're now "dating" (against her own wishes, but she's still taking it seriously) and yet at the same time you can't help but see that these two are on such a similar wavelength and bounce off each other so well that they might be the only two people who can really be with each other.
Also, respect to Shoma. Kirishima even thinks he's a truer Yakuza than he is. And Yoshino is obviously extremely comfortable/caring towards him. But he's still fighting being the Childhood Friend. A guy so loyal he's not even turned on by the sight of a knockout like Tsubaki naked.
So if I'm understanding it correctly Yoshino is a target because of a power struggle in the Kirigaya-gumi, a power struggle that may or may not have lead to her fathers' death.
I'm really going to miss Yoshino. She was drop-dead gorgeous, super relatable, had some of the best outfits of the season, and was able to hold her own as a woman in a world of tough and lethal criminals and Yakuza.

Admittedly the show and the ED make it pretty clear she has both Kirishima and Shoma wrapped around her finger.
