You know, theres a reason why they're going through a major birth crisis right now, right? Japanese teens are less interested in sex than ever. Just comparing it to Western culture isn't the way to do it.

Wha...?

How do you know that? And why?

Well, if that's all your criteria is then might I suggest Saikano, Ai Yori Aoshi (okay, not the beginning, but intimacy starts in the first episode), REC (again, not the 'beginning' but their relationship starts in the first episode and dude is in mid 20s), Comic Party (I can't remember if they're high school or college), Futakoi Alternative, White Album (well, the protagonist is 20) and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - Rumbling Hearts come to mind off the bat.

Looks like the seinen drama and/or comedy and early eroge adaptations are really the only ones to go towards that sort of romance. That's not too surprising I suppose.

@RyanSaotome

That conflates "interested in sex" with interested in relationships (or marriage).

I've already pointed out evidence in another thread that's not the case, with soaplands, increase in sex toys, porn, the amount of risque material for both genders, the host clubs, etc.

Until guys and girls actually stop being sexually excited and well, stop masturbating, or would turn down friends with benefits, or would turn down a free trip to the not-technically-prostitution soaplands, then they will always be interested in sex

My Mc can't be this much of a rapist!

Tell me why a woman would fall in love with a voyeur?

So it's about a stalker? Okay then, may give it a miss. But then again, it has Asuka Ōgame...

I don't really recall anybody ever saying that Taiga was a stalker or some horrible person for taking copious (blurry) photos of Kitamura. Is this sort of thing only detestable when it's a male or something? Granted this show sounds terrible and I'll be skipping it, but unless the dude is poking holes in the changing room, trying to get panty shots, or not heeding to girls who express that they do not want their picture taken then I don't see much harm.

I'm kinda getting bored with the same "I like that girl/boy and she/he is a potencial girlfriend/boyfriend or even assumes that likes me too, but we'll never date or we'll do in the end of the anime/manga". Oh, and when a miracle happens and the protagonist starts dating in the middle of the series, they don't actually date. I mean, they hang out and everything, but they don't kiss often (or they never kiss at all), they never flert and have more-intimate moments. Yeah me too.

Might I suggest Mysterious Girlfriend X? Fits the bill... (Of course, they don't kiss either, or have sex, but they do talk about it, dream about it, and plan to when the time is right.)

His her circumstances fits it better I think. Fair warning though the anime was done by the eva guy right after it, and you can see him lose it in the second half. so read the manga

His and Her Circumstances is a great show about a couple doing coupley things (no obnoxious breakups or tons of drama or anything) and you should def check it out!! However, the "EVA guy" actually didn't direct the second half because he quit the job after episode 19; Kazuya Tsurumaki, the "FLCL guy", took over. Whatever problems the show has in the second half aren't because of Anno really!

Hey, if Japan gets shocked by this graduation photo of what Japanese high school students are doing in broad daylight:

Here's the uncensored version, but beware, very possibly NSFW so make sure you're alone! Laughing
