I wasn't huge on Vigilantes, but jeez if this preview doesn't look clean. 2025 is gonna be a pretty solid year for MHA.

Its about time. Feels like I've been waiting for this forever. I think this is one of the few spinoffs that does have a drop off in quality from the original.

I'm glad it's happening before the final, the atmosphere in the final stretch will be even better.

Well this is going to be an anime series and not a movie so it seems most likely Crunchyroll will license it.

I'd rather see Toho distribute it, but just because Crunchyroll's will probably still dub this spin-off into Neutral Spanish in Miami and that dub hasn't improved ever since Funimation released it back in late 2020. For the fourth movie Toho took control of rhe Neutral Spanish dub, they ordered the anime cast to be the same as the series (with some exceptions) , but instead of the dub being directed in Miami, most of the work was done in Mexico like the first two movies which were dubbed before the series received one, and most people agreed that the fourth movie's dub had a much better quality compared to the series. But since many of the recent announcements are of anime that are distributed by Crunchyroll, I imagine it'll still be dubbed in The Kitchen Miami.

Not gonna lie, I didn't like Vigilante, not as an spin off, I think its a bad manga period, I am 100% sure you can delete at least 1/3 of the "plot" and it would make no difference and what if left its the most basic isekai plot ever.
However, a decent amount of people like it so I am glad for them and it's nice to see some characters of MHA on their daily lives, even if some of them are kinda out of character.

I'm going to against the grain here and say Vigilantes, to me, is peak MHA (even when the main series was getting too caught up in itself) so I'd been hoping for an anime adaption for so long.
I wonder if they plan on having Vigilantes basically take over once the main series is completed?
Also is that Kohei Amasaki as Koichi?
And, of course, here's Pop's butt.

Honestly, the thing that makes me happiest about this getting an anime is the fact that I strongly feel a part of it just should have been in the main story since it would have made a handle full of scenes a lot more impactful. Still, better late than never and happy people will get that context.

Yeah Vigilantes is pretty good dare I say I like it better than the main series? Knuckleduster is easily my favorite character in the whole franchise can't wait to see him in action.

Read the first several chapters or so but dropped it once i started to lose interest. Though, I must say the anime is looking to be quite clean judging from the promo vid. Though, I have to wonder how they'll handle the early scenes of the heroine being explicitly sexually harassed. I think it comes off even worse than Dandadan's portrayal of it. atleast there, its kinda borderline goofy. Will they try to alter it or leave it as it is? Not sure first time viewers are going to take it very lightly if shown as is.

Glad I'm not alone in this feeling. I wish Eraserhead's backstory hadn't been shoved into there because that ended up being the only part I cared about.
