In general CN is removing anime to replace it with their dumb ass shows. I bet after Code Geass and Moribito air the only new anime series CN will bother to air will be Bleach but then in about 6 months or so they'll remove it too because of "low ratings".

Not to mention the satisfaction of watching it live and talking about it with your friends afterward. That's harder to do with watching DVR recordings days later.

Are you kidding me? Watch it live and discuss? If you've got time to talk about the funny parts of Gurren Lagaan, or the frames per second or Animation of Morbito, then you need a new hobby man. Recording on a VCR is so...90's. Spend $100 and get a TiVo.

And they'll probably not even hide it, ether, it will be quote unquote "low ratings".

I said DVR(Digital Video Recorder) because not all people use the TiVo brand of television recording. Nothing about VCRs.

New hobby? You've never talked about a show with friends? Or went to see a movie and afterward talked about it with friends? Discussing recently viewed shows is a deeply ingrained tradition among the geek culture, and keep in mind where you're at: an anime news site. You can't hide what's inside.
