The day where anime fans realize that "smooth" animation does not automatically mean "good" animation and vice versa is the day when the anime community becomes an utopia.

There is nothing "rushed" here, not in the slightest. This has plenty of "smooth" scenes either way, but you also have the Kanada-style animation which is based on dynamic poses and snappy timing over pure fluidity. But trying to make an anime fan understand about animation is a migraine.

Looking smooth or fluid doesn't equate to good animation. You lose a lot of impact and style when it comes to that if everything was like that. Even Imaishi mentioned this once.
