Max Mittelman did a great job voicing Sewashi in the English dub of Doraemon, so I'm confident that he'll do a great job voicing Saitama as well. Smile

Just saw the Toonami trailer. Saitama voice is so on-point. I really can't wait to hear everyone else's, especially Mumen Rider. HYPE! Question though: Will they use the Japanese hero titles or the English translation (Ex. Mumen Rider= License-less Rider)?

I believe they did the 1999 HxH dub, and it was awful. No one felt like they wanted to be there.


i wouldnt be so sure. while your right about ranma 1/2, the 1999 hunter x hunter was decent enough in those times. and as for a viz media dub that was bad,the only ones close was busho renkin. while its dub was passable, it was overall mediocre at best.especially for a shonen jump title.

as for the downright awful ones, there's gatch bell, blue dragon, eyeshield 21 (before giving the license over to section 23 that decides to make it sub only) and of course ranma 1/2. so while they had good dubs, there were definitely some bad ones that at times people were comparing them as the same levels as 4kids.

I hope that this dub will be the mix of Los Angeles and Vancouver voice actors, as many members of the "Behind the Voice Actors" website forum predicted.
