I hadn't heard many of his other roles, but I loved him as Cobra. RIP and I hope his family and friends pull though his passing.

Aww man. And Cobra's OVAs finished recently. I hope he had fun voicing Cobra before passing away.

Space Adventure Cobra's a favorite of mine. He was great in the role right up to the OAVs. The new guy in the new TV series is unbearable by comparison. Sad news indeed. May he rest in peace. Cobra's not the same without him.

Oh wow.
I've seen him in a lot of smaller roles so I recognized the name over the refs in the article-the DB movie, Demon Lord Dante, Hellsing. Ok-Anderson wasn't exactly small & it was very memorable This is very sad & I wish his friends & family the best getting thru this. |

It's a pity so many people in this industry are dying lately, but I guess it's nothing more than a regrettable coincidence. While I've seen the recent OVA series without having finished the original TV show, I thought he did a good job as Cobra. Rest in peace.

Another old time voice actor pass away from lung cancer. Though I'm glad he lived a great life with all of the anime he starred in.
I've seen one episode of Cobra, but not the whole series. Not sure when I'll ever see the whole thing. I'll remenber him best as the first voice actor of Lupin III for the first Lupin anime the 1969 pilot which had two different versions: a cinemascope and TV version. He didn't do other voice work for lupin till the 90's as the voice of John Clawse, Sadijuyo, & Crisis. His final role in Lupin is his most memorible role was as the voice of Pycal for "Return of the Magician" OVA. Not a perfect VA, but it was an interesting OVA. Anyways I give mycondolences to his friends and family. |

Wow, I actually knew his voice via Franz Bonaparta from Monster, a chilling performance to be sure. And he dubbed John McClane, so he had to be awesome. RIP.

Such a shame...he was one of the industry's best. /salute. Rest in Peace, Mr. Nozawa. May your family and friends find some comfort in their time of grief.
