Uh-uh. He's my father's cousin, making him my... second cousin, I guess? I've only met him a couple of times, but he gave me his Boo Hoo album. I've even played with his son, Mars.
Most of the time his family calls him Roy.

First cousin once removed. I usually call my parents' cousins aunts and uncles, though, even the one who's only two weeks older than I am.

There's no way I'm calling Roy "uncle". I don't even like calling him "Voltaire".
That "Brains!" song for The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy was pretty funny, though.

Love Voltaire's outfit, now that is goth! It's not the cheap, knock-off, wannabe, punk-esque outfits some try to pass for goth. That is goth in (one of it's) true outifts.
penguintruth he's really your second cousin!? Whoa, small world.

Damn, I thought the real Voltaire somehow woke up from his grave to attend AX. Now that would have been news.

Never really heard much from him before but he kind of looks like a goth version of Prince and that's totally okay with me.

I must say that I do enjoy Voltaire's music. It has a unique sound, his voice has an appealing ring to it, and I just love the dark flavor and humor. This is pretty cool.

If that's true goth it's pretty stupid. Just looks like a guy in a suit to me.

Bah, all of you criticizing Voltaire on his goth look doesn't know what Goth is, and have obviously never seen him live. Retired goth girl that I am, I'm not ashamed to say I never miss Voltaire when he's on tour in my area, and his panels and performances at Dragon*con are some of the highlights of the convention for me.
I just had to cringe at the fact that they posted his real name. Voltaire has tried so hard to be known only as Voltaire.
*stares at Penguin Truth* If he didn't make himself so accessible to all his fans, I'd be begging you for an autograph or something right now.

I haven't seen him in years, so it wouldn't do any good, anyway.
