Full Metal Alchemist is coming to Cartoon Network in October. Cool Based on the preview by Newtype, USA and the trailer, FMA will be a very action packed show. I can't wait for it to come out. Very Happy

I will definately be getting it. They had a preview of it on X-Play. Morgan and Adam were very impressed with it. They said it was like a interactive episode.

Full Metal Alchemist is most likely going to be the next big anime to hit american shores. It may get an fanbase like Bebop and Trigun. And I think when it hits adult swim it's ratings will compete with Inu-Yasha.

That's true, it may compete with Inu-Yasha. But, ever since I downloaded a trailer on FMA, I've been waiting for so long for it to come out. Does anyone know if FUNimation is translating the songs into English?

I don't think they are, actually. They're using "Ready Steady Go!" as the opening, and I think they're sticking with the Japanese.

The popularity of FMA can go either two ways, the Pokemon way (where it'll be a phenomenon in the US but will hopefully have a more adult audience) or the .hack way (.hack may have been popular in Japan but not in the US).
