Wow, nice. I've been buying the tankoubons of this and it's cute, fun, and funny.
It is, as the author himself says, a manga about watching a girl blush in flustered embarrassment over and over again, which I'm sure isn't for everyone, but I what can I say, I love this sort of thing. (My favorite moments in Shugo Chara were Ikuto teasing Amu...) It's mostly dialog-based, so the scenes themselves shouldn't be hard to re-create in any medium, but I guess they need to make sure it doesn't wind up feeling like a slow plodding version of reading the books. |

The thing about it is that these things are kinda like chocolate or sweets. Too much of it, and nothing but it starts to make it taste bad and you get sick of it. It goes best as a topping, and in very, very small doses. I for one could never watch a series made entirely of fluff. I like substance. Which is why I really couldn't watch more than two episodes of Kimi ni Todoke (but that's a story for another time). |

^ This. It'll probably be an OVA given the type of show it is...but then KissXSis got a TV adaptation so we'll see. The only other work from Konno Azure that I know of just so happens to be an H title and the characters all look like the ones in Koe de Oshigoto (rather, he's reusing the models from his earlier work) so honestly I'm surprised it hasn't already crossed that fine line between smut and porn... |

I read a bit of the manga. It's interesting that the heroine starts feeling intense sexual feelings since it doesn't fit with the "pure girl" sterotype you see so often, but after a little while it just started feeling voyeuristic and I dropped it.

Actually there is very little fanservice, in the manga at least. Though you do get to hear a bunch of 15-16 year olds have a lot of sex talk and what not. I read some of the manga but its humour is starting to wear a bit thin, not to mention that because it is 'mature' it is a tad more difficult to find these days. |
