It's not even wishful thinking for Macross Frontier anymore, it just isn't happening. Wish I wasn't on the other side of the country, I'd definitely go just for this. |

I doubt they'd be bringing over the singers if the anime wasn't going to be picked up soon. How often does that happen?

Even though they haven't announced who yet, I find announcing there will be a mystery guest defeats the purpose of "mystery".

My guess is probably a portion of what they did at the "Final Tour" in Budokan last year, which was fantastic by the way. Best news I've heard all day. It's a shame though that I may miss the convention this year. |

Too bad I live too far away to see them.
Now that you mention that little tidbit (I totally forgot that she lives in the USA now, presuming that she hasn't moved anywhere else since), it wouldn't surprise me to see that happen. And it'd be glorious. |

Maaya Sakamoto most likely. Since she did the OP and was in the medley. So jealous of anyone that can go to AX this year. this beats out every other con's musicial guest. anything composed by yoko kanno is epic. gah so jealous. |
