In response to A I highly reccomend Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube. The game just came out, but it has a killer anime opening, and the character designs are in an anime esque style. Other notables games include any of the Lunar games for the playstation or any of the Wild Arms games for the PS, or PS2. In response to B, I can only really think of a couple that are decent. Star Ocean EX the anime is based off of the game Star Ocean: The Second Story (PS1), so that one is a good one to get. The Gungrave (PS2) game came out before the anime, but it's still a fun shoot-me-up type game. In response to C the only games that look and feel somewhat similar to the way Windwaker did are any of the Dark Cloud games for the PS2. The first one doesn't look exactly the same, but the second one is still cel-shaded and looks at sometimes better than WindWake IMO. That's all that I can think of off of the top of my head. I hope this helps a little ![]() ~LoneWolf |

A) I have always thought that the Final Fantasy games had a CGI anime feel too them. Thats my opinion, but even the story just sounds like something out of an anime. When I think about it, a lot of the RPG's have that same feel.
B) I know that most gundam games are frowned upon, but thats very common when it comes to anime based games, or even movie based games. Its rare to find a good game based on some kind of show/movie. But the most recent gundam game I played, Encounters In Space. Wasn't too horribly bad. It stayed with the original story but the versus mode had MS's from Gundam SEED, Gundam Wing, G Gundam, and that might be it, but don't hold me to it. C) If by games that looked like Windwaker you mean cell shaded, then I would suggest Viewtiful Joe. I've heard it is fun, though I never played it (nor have I played Windwaker, no gamecube, therefore I don't know of any games that PLAY simular to it) I also had fun playing Jet Set Radio Future. |

You should really get Tales of Symphonia. It's for the GameCube and got a 8.75 out of 10.It has anime cutscene and the graphics are Zelda of the Windmaker with a feel of anime in it.

I have a lot of games that involve their anime. For PS2, Street Fighter Alpha 3 is great. Good enjoyability, lots of play time and internet compatibility. Any of the Stret Fighter series as a matter of fact; I've enjoyed them all since the Sega Genesis. Also, Guilty Gear X2 doesn't have an anime, but it is a great 2d fighter. Next , there is the Inuyasha game for playstation which came out about 2003. It is a pretty simple 2d fighter with all of your favoite characters from Inuyasha. Dragonballz Budokai and Dragonballz Budokai 2 are good games to play with others as well as alone. The 1st installment of the series was a basic 3d fighter that had a lot of the characters from DBZ in it, and a lot of the techniques. You have to win money in the tournament which consists of 3 difficulty levels. Then, after gaining some money you buy capsules for techniques, new areas to fight in, and other neat things. In story mode you'll find out it only goes up to the end of the Cell saga. The story mode is fairly easy and should only take about 2-3 hours to complete. Part 2 of the series was very much improved. The story mode basically, because there are many alternate paths you can take. You are on a quest for the Dragonballs but you are still following the plot. The 2nd release in this series allows you to complete the entire dbz saga; all the way through to Buu. Fatal Fury is also another very good 2d fighter. The characters and background designs in my opinion had a little extra work put into them than your average 2d fighter. Well, these are some games that were made into an anime series or are based off an anime series. All, these games are for the PS2 and the Playstation consoles.

Meh, I wasn't going to post here, but i can't help it.
Pick up Final Fantasy Chronicles for the PSX/PS2 and knock yourself out playing Chrono Trigger, the bet RPG ever made! And made a little bit sweeter with the inclusion of a great animated openning and animated versions of each ending! Ah, what a great game... ![]() Emerje |

What about the Gundam games? I've only played one of them, even though there is a vast amount. There are a lot of people who say the Gundam games are good mecha games. I can't say this is true because I've only seen screenshots. B) Also, the two Gundam Battle Assault games are great. Gundam Battle Assault 2 has a lot of modes to play and a enormous amount of Gundams to unlock. Sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge but thats what makes it fun. Both Gundam Battle Assault games are for the Playstation console. |
