Well, I am quite undecided on this matter and I would like for all of you experts out there to share what is your favorite gundam mecha. Laughing

Although I know I'm in the minority with this, G Gundam is my favorite Gundam series.

So my favorite mecha would be Bolt Gundam.

Most all of my favorites are Zeon suits, but out of just Gundams, I like:

RX-78 GP02A Gundam Physalis (Gundam 0083)
RX-178 Gundam Mk.II (Zeta Gundam)
RX-93 Nu Gundam (Char's Counterattack)

Heavy Arms was in Gundam Wing...

My favorite would either be Forbidden( Gundam Seed) or Nu (Char's Counterattack). THose were certainly awesome...and I don't know if it counts...I don't really think it was a Gundam but the Sazabi(Char's Counterattack), that thing was awesome.

It's a tough call, I guess. Although I was initially put off the first time I saw lineart, I've loved the WD-M01/SYSTEM-A99 Turn A Gundam ever since I first saw it in animation. It stands in stark contrast to many other Gundams with its total lack of extra crap stuck all over it. In that regard, it's something of a utilitarian design, and yet it's still such a beautiful machine.

I've also always been a fan of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. I think that it strikes a nice balance between originality and tradition (not that there was all that much tradition built up yet when it was introduced). It definitely shares some similarities with its predecessors (of which there are only two, not counting MSV and MSX, but still...), but it's not a total rehash. It's just a nice looking design.

I also really like the LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam. While it's not quite as bare as the Turn A, it also sports a pretty refreshing lack of dead weight like oversized backpacks and unnecessary wings. And I've always been a big fan of the Wings of Light.

I guess the last one I'll mention is the RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam. It's not quite the same kind of basic design as the Turn A and V2, but the extra stuff it carries on its back are fin funnels, so at least they serve some sort of purpose. I prefer Hi-Nu over Nu because of the sleeker design and nicer color scheme. Nu Gundam isn't bad, though.

Those four would be my top picks, in no particular order. Favorite Gundam from each series (with no listing for those shows that only have one Gundam, since...the answer should be obvious):

The 08th MS Team: RX-79[G] Ez8
Gundam 0083: RX-78GP03S Dendrobium Stamen
Zeta Gundam: MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam
Gundam ZZ: MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam
Victory Gundam: LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam
G Gundam: GF13-017NJII God Gundam
Gundam Wing: XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms
Endless Waltz: XXXG-01S2 Altron Gundam
Gundam X: GX-9900 Gundam X
Gundam SEED: GAT-X105 Strike Gundam (preferably with none of those damn mission packs equipped)

I guess it is time to input some of my opinion, since I started this.

For the UC timeline, my favorite is the RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam. After that would be hmmm.... ahhh Z gundam I guess. But I do like Gundam F-91, nothing fancy, just a plain simple UC evolutionary Gundam.

For AC it would be Wing Zero Custom, however, I haven't seen Turn A Gundam, thus I don't know if I would change my mind.

I guess we should extend this discussion not just only Gundams. A lack of foresight in my part Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop. Sazabi sounds good. I like the Gelgoog Jager, or aka "Gelgoog sniper"

Gotta go with the original RX-78 i just like simplistic design and plus if you ever played Gundam Battle Assault 2 it has the Gundam Hammer which is probably the strongest special move on the game.

I played Gundam Battle Assault 2. That move is pretty powerful, but I don't know if it's the strongest in the game. Not getting off topic here, from the UC line, I like Nu Gundam, and RX-178 Mk. II AEUG. Of course Sazabi is up there, but it's not a Gundam.

Non-UC I'd go with God Gundam or Freedom. I'm also partial to Buster and Strike. Well's that's my 2 cents.

Okay, on to my favorite Zeon suits, then!

AMS-119 Geara-Doga (Char's Counterattack)
AMX-004 Qubeley (Zeta, ZZ Gundam)
AMX-107 Bawoo (ZZ Gundam)
MS-14S Char's Gelgoog (Mobile Suit Gundam)
MS-18E Kaempfer (Gundam 0080)
MSM-03C Hygogg (Gundam 0080)
RMS-106 Hi-Zack (Zeta Gundam - not technically Zeon, but it is a Zaku)

And my all time favorite is, of course, the MSN-04 Sazabi, piloted by Char himself in Char's Counterattack.

My favorite would probably be the the suit that Raul La Kruze pilots at the end of Seed. That thing was powerful Smile
