Just a bit of a nitpick on that update, the pronunciation of Vampire Princess Miyu's Japanese title is Kyuuketsuki Miyu, rather than Kyuuketsu Hime Miyu. The 鬼 in 吸血鬼 (kyuuketsuki; vampire) being read as oni normally and ki in this compound, replaced with 姫 which is read as hime normally but can also be read as ki, as it is here. Still pronounced the same as the usual Japanese word for vampire, only (literally) meaning blood-sucking princess instead of the usual blood-sucking devil.

Not much of a pirate fan, and I'm certainly getting warning signs from the title that sounds like fanservice label, but somehow that picture has me interested.

Frankly though, I hope it at least attempts to be good space opera. I'm quite fond of them and I really don't want to be looking into space and instead look up a skirt. I'm not much for fan service. But this is frankly only being given off from the name. But the track record of Dirty Pair makes me think the worse ... |

Someone in Japan really loves us. Thanks to ANN's description of the series, I'm so there when it comes out on DVD. Notice I said when, not if. For Japan not to license this would be bad. So, FUNimation, get busy with the negotiations and call the dub crew in. This title is certainly going to be a blind buy. Where to I pre-order? |

I too was considering the suitability of such an expression. Since a Dirty Pair writer is involved though, one should expect this show will indeed be of the Ronseal variety. Its premise is quite an achievable one. |

Just looking at the comments, I wonder how many of the posters have made it out of school. Especially given the quality of the posts.
Miniskirt Pirates is light fluffy SF without a single mention of tits in any shape, size or form. I've been reading this on the train. If you are a hormone ravaged teenager who thinks with his dick, this is NOT the story for you. Forget it, go download some porn, really. I guess he has mellowed with age. I should ask my friend if I can get an interview
