I'm so glad that they're finishing the anime series. I understand why they had to leave things hanging like they did, but it was a bummer.

Wow, I'm suprised Viz announced this so fast! I mean I figured they would eventually, just not before it even aired in Japan! That's more like it Viz.

Well, this was a no-brainer for them, I guess.

I heard about Kekkaishi getting picked up a couple of days ago -- nice to see it officially announced. Can't wait to finally own it!

I never expected that Viz would pick up the Inu Yasha finale right off the bat or even BEFORE it's even produced (example: Bandai and Kurokami)! But I did kinda expect them to get the Vampire Knight anime. They have the manga after all. I wonder if they're gonna dub it? Richard Ian Cox would make a pretty good Kaname. And if we're lucky, Viz could license the Natsume Yuujinchou anime~!!

I can't help the fact that Kekkaishi makes me think of Inuyasha.

I must say, I do rather like Viz releasing anime. They do a very good job on video quality, not stuffing too many episodes on one disc.
I'd be happy if they took over from Funimation as prime anime releasing company to be perfectly honest. If just from a quality point of view. I still disagree with their censorship policies though, and the fact that that's stopped me having the chance to read numerous awesome shounen series : / Naruto, Bleach, Kekkaishi, Hunter x Hunter, Honey & Clover, Nana, Inu Yasha, Vampire Knight, (etc), there's a lot of series there I love |

Wow, nice to see Viz picking these series up. While Inuyasha will certainly get released rather quickly, I hope they don't take too long on releasing the others ones considering how long they took to release some of their other properties.

Finally we get Vampire Knight. It should be a good seller especially with the whole Vampire thing being in right now.It might introduce new people to shojo manga too.

Finally they announce Vampire Knight, I'm surprised they seem to be waiting until 2010 for a release though. I would make a lot of business sense to try and time it close to the release of the new Twilight movie, but ah well I'll still get it anyway.
