Sounds like too many cooks in the kitchen to me, but this could really turn out stunningly gorgeous if everything works out.

That's exactly what happened with Batman: Gotham Knight, so I wouldn't be surprised if that were to happen again with Halo Legends? Still, I'm looking forward to this. Sounds like it could be very cool.

More mainstream OADs? What is the purpose? They are really reaching with this one. Confused

I wonder what story they will pull from (if any)? The books? The first game or the terrible "cash money" Microsoft sequels?

Wow, so Batman came first as a anime adaption.

Then Dead Space, then Dante's Inferno.

Now Halo is becoming a anime.

What's next:

-Grand Theft Auto 5 taking place in Japan and Rockstar teams up with Capcom (GTA publisher in Japan) and Amusement vision (developer of the yakuza) to do it with character design done in anime style. An anime prequel OVA is to be done by a anime studio.

-Modern Warfare: the anime series. A anime adaption of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. The story follow Task force 141. The episode would take place before Call of Duty 4, in between MW and MW2 and after MW2.

-Killzone anime. Directed by Mamoru Oshii. It would be anime about the Helghast rise up and take place before the first Killzone.

Oh, boy I can sense the anime haters want to betray video game and I hope they do not decide to bring back Jack Thompson. I know these anime haters are willing to betray video game and side with JT.

Anime haters threatening to forge an alliance with Jack Thompson, also saying the anime industry has bought out the video game industry. Also, threatening to go to FoX news saying video game and anime are the danger to children today in 3...2...1

edit:

Bioshock anime-Little Sister designed by CLAMP while Sunrise do the animation.

Sounds more like Animatrix to me; multiple companies working on different segments of an OVA all unrelated to each other but with a central theme.

Interesting. I wonder if they'll bring Nihei in again.

Kind of humorous that it's being released on Blu-ray...

Well, I certainly like all the studios involved, so I'm gonna be optimistic on this one and predict that this is gonna RAWK!!!

Gotham Knight had a bunch of newbie directors while Animatrix had veteran directors, so it wasn't surprising that that Gotham's quality didn't match with Animatrix. Hopefully this will have veteran directors working on it.

I just hope it has the proper amount of badassery.

If they can figure that out, then it should be fine.

While I've only played Halo less than a handful of times, with all the names that are involved here this is really something to look forward to.

I think this has potential to be the next Afro Samurai. Whether you like the show or not, it sold and it sold well. Americans will eat this up.

Awesome. Glad to see they didn't go cheap either and got some big names to go with it.
