The latest issue of Famitsu announced the Fullmetal Alchemist is getting two more videogames for the PS2. The first one, Full Metal Alchemist: Dream Carnival, is a fighting game being produced by Bandai. The second one is said to be a "sequal" game to Dream Canival. It's to be an RPG with cel shaded graphics and will be produced by SquareEnix. The rpg is aparently based on the first half of the story of the anime/manga.

Here's hoping that these games will make it over here as well since the first FMA game is coming already.

Well since the game has not even received a concrete release date in Japan, it is too early to know for sure. I'm hoping for both these games to make it over here as well.

There are a few things wrong. You know something is wrong when:

- A game is being produced and at the same time, a "sequal" to the (present tence) produced game is being created at the same time.
- When an RPG is the "Sequal" to a fighting game.
- When Bandai makes a prequel to a SquareEnix game which is of the fighting genre.
- When the game is on the damned PS2 ><

Sorry about the last one, as it is somewhat biased, damn, I hate Sony. ><

- Square Enix and Bandai announced two new Full Metal Alchemist titles for PlayStation 2. The first is an action RPG from Square Enix called Full Metal Alchemist: Akaki Elixir no Akuma, the game will ship in Japan this fall, and in US next spring.

- The second title is a 3D tag-team fighting game from Bandai called Full Metal Alchemist: Dream Carnival, which is developed by Eighting, the creator of the Bloody Roar series; no release date is set. In addition, the Full Metal Alchemist cartoon will appear on the American Cartoon Network in October.

Took this from http://www.the-magicbox.com. Don't think the first game is the continuation of the second one. Rather it may be a continuation to the anime? Just a thought.

Anyway I don't think that it is very nice of you Shiki MSHTS to use the word damned and do a brand insult on a public forum. I love my ps2 very much thank you very much. Very Happy

Sorry bout that, but first of all, I've seen long-timers on this board do slight cursing here and there, and so on. It's not in my intrests to ever really insult anyone directly or such on the boards (unless they hit first ><). The board isn't exactly a child's playground, nor is it an adult angst club. I believe cursing is allowed to a certain extent, as long as it's not directed at a fellow poster or such.

Also, I never really go higher than the words "damn" or "hell". No f-bombs or anything from me ever on the boards. I try to keep a moderately clean lifestyle of the mouth online and in real life (though something may slip now and then, I really try hard to never go beyond those words). And I try hard not to invoke nessisary flames on the board and such.
------------------------

As for the topic though, I damn the PS2, simply, well, due to a certain bias I have. I hate Sony (at least in the gaming industry), and as childish as it sounds, it's just a bias. I could back it up, but that could lead to needless rambling and flaming, and I don't want that. ^^;.

I hate the PS2. Don't argue with me on it, as it's not really worth it. ^^;

Tis a shame that the game has to go to the sinking ship. =P

Granted, I've seen much worse from other people and from other boards. Yeah, I guess you are right, you are indeed moderate. And there's plenty of reasons to hate Sony I do agree on that. But still, my PS2 brought me lots of fun, and I do appreciate the hours I spent on it, so I guess I kinda overeacted in someway. Rolling Eyes

Anyway, on the topic about Fullmetal Alchemist, I was just wondering, in the place where I live, although the Anime is not yet available, this title is already recieving plenty of attention, and I think it's due to the popularity of the manga. What's the difference? I think in some wallpapers that i downloaded from the web, I saw a girl with pink and short hair and I wonder: who is that? I saw the fansubs of this anime but never recalled seeing this person.

Just to rant, its a pity FMA is not available on DVD now. ARgh, I want to finish the series!! Evil or Very Mad
