So let's see, a computer animated movie for children involving magic and talking animals... if this gets a good dub it could actually do well in American theaters.

No, Toy Story involves toys coming to life and wanting to be together with their young owner. I don't think there will be living toys in this movie.
Anyway, coming from I.G., this looks like it will be an enjoyable movie.

Cool beans. As the studio that gave us Blood+ and Otogi Zoshi, I have a lot of time for Production I.G.

I have to agree. Anything with Production I.G.'s name on it gets a closer look from me. Usually top notch work.

I'd expect a story like this if Pixar did an anime movie.
The fact that it's 3D turns me off a bit though.

I'd be worried about 3D if 'motion capture' was mentioned somewhere in the article blurb. As it is, if there's any studio I would trust to make a decent CG film, it's I.G, that awkward OP for GitS: SAC aside.

Oh god, not 3-D. PLEASE. I hope this isn't the beginning of a trend. 3-D animation ruined animated movies in America. Where are the days of El Dorado, Sinbad, Prince of Egypt, Atlantis, The Hunchback of Notre Dame...Now we're stuck with trash like -Ice Age-, and I don't even know what else.
If this ends up being a new anime trend as well I might have to turn in my fandom license.
