Will it consist of 70% recycled footage from previous projects like the TV series itself, too? Laughing

Ouch! I still like it, though. Confused Smile

I watched the first couple of episodes, which were remakes of the OVA eps, planning to marathon it later. Has it moved beyond the OVA yet? I thought it was going on to be original episodes beyond the first few. BTW, I did like the sprucing up of the OVA episodes and am interested to see where the story goes.

The first few episodes were recycled from the OVA, but I'm sure there's much more story in this one. I haven't seen a lot of discussion about this one, despite it being KyoAni.

Basically, KyoAni did this:

Translated the previous OVA's into 5 and a half episodes worth of content, produced another three and a half episodes worth of new material...

And is ending the show next week.

Be it Kadokawa's decision, TV stations limiting broadcast, lack of funding for their original series, WHATEVER, while I have dramatically enjoyed the show, it's biggest downfall will be it being too ****ing short.

Check it out but do not expect length from it. ~_~

That's not good. I will watch it for sure, though. It had an old school feel to the story that I enjoyed, plus the updated animation.

The people who check it out are what matters.

It's ungodly disappointing but eh, nothing that can be done about it apparently. The whole thing feels pleasantly old school though, which is why I jumped into it...

My friend said it was like Escalfowne, minus drama, mechs and a few other things... He enjoyed it though.

Those are his words, not mine.

It's a very pretty show to watch, but it's kind of hard to follow IMO (not that it's complex, just that the premise is kind of nonsensical).

I like it overall and it annoys me they couldn't go into a bit more detail with it if they are truly ending it this soon. That won't allow for much of a resolution.
