That is not true. As I've already said, the novel has already been released. I have seen it in stores in Canada. Here is a link to it's page on Chapters.ca. As you can see, it was released in September 2007.

Well, I must say; When I found this little gem I was intrigued at borders. So I bought Vol 1. - 4 and the Novel. I have since collected Manga vol's 1 5 and 6 and I have not read the Novel yet. I plan to read that when I am finished with the Manga if I can hold out.. I might not be able to. But it certainly is an interesting read. I highly recommend it. And if someone feels like it please PM what happens between Masaki and our Favorite NEET I don't mind a good spoiler. (or just post it )

I just finished and the anime and was wondering if in the manga the relationship between satou and masaki becomes romantic?
when satou didn't sign the second contract i was let down with the ending.

Do you mean the Hostage Exchange contract in the very last scene of the series? Because he does sign that, it's the last thing he does before the end. I have't read the manga or novel, but the anime was open-ended. I would assume that they put off any serious relationship until Misaki graduates high school, but I think it is inevitable that they end up together.

No, I mean the second one. When he graduates from not being a hikuimari (sp) Misaki offers another contract, one agreeing for her and satou to always be together. Satou doesn't sign it. I think it's espisode 24 when this takes place
