At first I did enjoy Muhyo and Roji, but after a couple of chapters, the series became more violent than needed and some of the later chapters were disturbing. However, the violence was no where's near HunterXHunter though.

Muhyo just got more and more awesome as it went on, turning from a series that had fantastic designs but no story to speak of into a true epic.
Really can't want to see what he does next.

Kaji is one of the worst authors ever to grace the page, and I'm shocked to see him get another shot. And they just keep trying with bland sports manga, despite the abject failure of every sports title since Eyeshield 21...

I stopped reading Muhyo a while ago. It's got no sense of direction, and the supporting characters are annoying. It did show potential in some ways, though, which is why I'm hoping the next project from that manga-ka is an improvement over this series.

It definitely develops a sense of direction belatedly. Worth sticking with.
