From the most intelligent character contest (page 27):
Wow, they certainly mean different things, eh? |

I forgot I took some printscreens the day they were posted. I made a montage because the quotes alone don't make justice to what really happened there.

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't help but laugh at this. I mean, honestly, it's just good (unclean) fun. Thanks Craeyst! |

I've never actually seen someone defend their use of leet speak and define it as "hip" and "new-age." Nor have I heard of someone describe dual-wielding as "innovative" and "revolutionizing." Until now, that is. |

Well, it was, back when Drizzit was first put on paper. Now it's just a way to get 5-6 Attack rolls per turn. Although, Dual-wielding broadswords is even better then a holding a massive, double-bladed Axe for getting across "Huge wall of muscle that can crush stone in his bare hands, probably." I admit I've never seen someone dual-wield a human being, you'll probably need a cloning tank for that to begin with, but honestly it seems more silly than anything to me. That's among melee weapons, of course. Dual-wielding handguns retains most of it's awesome, at least until you run out of ammo and can't reload. You can counter that- even, in some cases, up the awesome quotient- with a New York Reload, but that requires a large weapons budget to do regularly. |

At the risk of going further off-topic, watch Equilibrium (if you have not done so already). It takes akimbo and auto-reloading to a new plane of awesomeness. |

Wow, I actually agree with you. It was funny at the start, but just never seemed to stop. This was no Cape Feare-style rake scene; it just seemed like Zac was under the influence. |

I'll second that. But then again, it seemed to please most people who read it. |

Yes, but the part after that sounded more like a temper tantrum than anything else.
I don't know what was wrong with Zac and Justin this week, but they seemed really antsy. At least when tempest released that rather flawed survey recently, he owned up and accepted responsibility. Justin and Zac got angry instead of accepting that those people who complained had a point. Last edited by dtm42 on Sun Nov 23, 2008 5:08 am; edited 1 time in total |
