Moribito also moved up and the rest of the block 2:30 - 6:00 am is all rerun anime (FLCL, GIS, etc.) Dunno the exact line-up though.

Would it be hard to give it a 11:30pm time slot?

I still have my doubts, Adult Swim's track record with anime has been spotty at best. Even if this new schedule is for real, I only wonder how long it will last. I think the last schedule before the massive influx of their homebrew comedies lasted all of 2 week.

Oh boy!
And by 'oh boy!', I mean WHY? I guess I'm sticking to my guns, aka AS's website.
And I hope no CG fan stays up late to watch this - lack of sleep will interfere with your NaNoWriMo novel ;D

Well, I can say I am happy with this. Although, I have missed so much Code Geass because of the previous 5 AM timeslot that I prolly wont watch it just to avoid spoilers and whatnot. However I will prolly turn my TV on the station just to help the ratings
I just hope AS does not do something stupid again.

2 Ante? That isn't early enough. Code Geass needs to be aired much earlier (Read: Right after Bleach).
With their shitty scheduling practices, it's clear that [AS] wants anime to fail.

I'll stick to watching via the website, it's much easier for me. Plus, I don't want to get my hopes up too high, only to have them shot down. If it moved to the 11:30 slot, then I'd be a happy camper.

Well, this is certainly much better. If it weren't for their previous schedules I'd say that maybe they were smart enough to realize that premieres at 4 AM Central were completely dumb. I'm curious to see if they'll have the next episode online or if we'll have to wait. It's certainly helpful for those who missed it last week because of the schedule, but anyone who managed to see it might have to wait an extra week now. Either way, at least it's a positive step.

At least its better than before. But, I still think that a 11, 12, or 1 slot would be better for it.

2am certainly is an improvement since there is a better chance of me perchance still being up to watch than there is of me staying/waking up to watch it at 5am. However, I'm probably still going to watch it on the website, it's much more convenient for me.

No, you morons! This is catastrophic! R2 has been getting bashed to hell and back on these boards and others for months, and you can bet the hoard of obnoxious fans who thrive on being too cool for last years' material are going to stay away in droves. The series is going to hit declining ratings and reinforce to AS that they were right to boot it to early A.M. Damnation...

Well, Mike Lazzo did cancel Moral Orel... Despite the fact that [AS] is showing one episode a night Monday-Thursday, like maybe they want to gain more ratings only to shoot the fans down with, nope, no more new seasons! LUL!
I have no life over the weekends, so I don't care what time slot anime is shown, but even I think 5 AM is ridiculous for a spot normally reserved for Inu Yasha reruns. And right now, I'm sticking to the [AS] website schedule: CG at 5 AM and Moribito at 5:30.

LOL. Seriously.
I kinda wished that it would have stayed at its original time slot for the 1st season and that it would be changed to the 5 am slot for the 2nd. After watching just one episode, I feel like the whole 2nd series is big disappointment. But maybe those are just premature feelings.

Well that's good to know. I needed to wrap up FLCL. [adult swim] stopped the re-run that I was watching right in the middle of things.
