Thanks Funi, glad to see you could do something right today, and not screw more people over. Time to watch the dub.
Edit: nm...it says the video can't be found on the funi watch shows tab. I got it to work on the watch episodes tab, but the above still doesn't work.

Well, that will make people go out and buy the rest of it.

Why is it that I didn't know Yoko Kanno composed the music for this until now?

BONES? Kanno? Seemingly angst-ridden, potentially epic storyline? All wrapped up in blisteringly beautiful animation? Oh, I am SO sold.
My only complaint isn't for the series, but for FUNi's site, since I couldn't actually find the trailer there. And if it weren't for ANN's article announcing it, I had no idea what to enter for the "password." In my book, unnecessarily irritating.

I watched half of it, so I guess I can say that it seems the entire show is divided into 2 episode unrelated arcs, so that cliff-hanger is resolved in the next episode.

Yep, you would think that might change, but it's two episode arcs for the entire series.

Bones, Kanno... how could this not be good? I'll be checking this out for sure.

Yeah, the only way that you could know the password is if 1) you watched the fansubs 2) you go to wikipedia and run a big risk of spoiling the series for yourself.
I like that FUNi is offering these episodes for free, but having these passwords are annoying.
Oh, and they had the trailer on their podcast. It's a lot better than the one that's on the official DTB site.

I definitely enjoyed what I saw of this series last year (the first half) but I'll pass on Funi's initial release since they went with singles instead of sets (as they've already explained) and wait for the complete collection.

And there's also the DVD-only episode (26) while we're at it.

Well it seems pretty good so far. The opening reminds me of mirage of blaze though

Very Nice! I really liked what I saw of it before I dropped it once Funi announced the license, now I'm looking forward to actually getting the chance to finish it. I'll have to try those episodes they posted out sometime though, just to get a nice little preview of the dub. I'm just hoping they'll stream it on their YouTube channel now......... Although I do plan on buying the DVDs eventually.
