I agree lol. I was a little disappointed to see that Lilo will not be in the series :p Ill still watch it though probably. I love almost everything else that the Stitch franchise has released...

Oh, my gawd! This trailer is the single greatest thing I have seen all summer. (Of the things I've seen this summer that haven't been Ferraris, at least.)

Take a hike, Iron Man!

I especially like how all of the alien characters have essentially the same character designs as the original movie and related DTV-animated spinoffs, but with subtle anime touches (more in terms of the colour palette than in terms of cliché facial expressions). I don't mind that the human cast looks different than the human characters in the American franchise; there'd be no point in doing an anime version if everything was exactly the same as the American films and TV series.

But I preferred Lilo & Stitch over Spirited Away, so what do I know?

This should prove quite an interesting show. It probably won't live up to the original movie, but I look forward to seeing how it compares with the American Stitch TV cartoon.

Also, the news about it replacing Bleach is pretty intriguing, and makes me wonder if it's a timeslot move or an out-and-out cancellation. The current filler arc is probably doing a number on their ratings (it's not even that bad, but the way it abruptly interrupted and replaced an ongoing plotline must have upset a lot of viewers.)

The bleach anime has been on a downward slope for a while now (even though I love it) I don't think that this new show will be as good as the movie and what's lilo and stitch without lilo? I'm surprised they moved it from hawaii because there is a large japanese population there so she still could have been japanese without changing the setting to okinanwa. But still it looks interesting I wonder if disney will play it on tv.
