I was wondering where I could get one of those dual sectioned DVD cases. You know, like the 'special edition' or 'collectors' series ones. Like Spider-Man, X2, or Lord of the Rings.
I was going to order this R1 movie set that is 2 disc, but it only carries one disc in the case, while the extra disc is in a paper jacket with the chapter sheet. Hence, my desire to find a case that can hold both of them. Thanks. |

Not quite what I was looking for, but it'll do until I can find the one I'm looking for. Thanks.

Oh like the cases of the bootleg anime? They are very close to the LOTR ones.

Oh. Well, to tell you the truth, I've never actually seen the LOTR cases, I was just guessing . I'm looking for the cases with the flipable disc holder such as in the movies I suggested. My Spider-Man, X2, and Gladiator cases have them. |

I used to work at Blockbuster and we would throw those away by the ton. Just go on a Tuesday when a double-disc movie comes out and ask if you can have the extras.
Also, I bought some Thin-paks for my collection. The cheapest price I was recommended was at http://www.tapeandmedia.com/dvd_cd_cases.asp. They really made a dent in my available shelf space. They have single and double cases. I don't think the thin-pak double cases were really any better than regular size double diisc boxes. Here's the space ratios: Single 8 thin-pak=4 regular Double 5 double thin-pak=4 regular |
