#1. This should go in the music forum
#2. You didn't ask about a specific song, if that's what you were wondering. #3. Yes, numerous soundtracks exist for InuYasha. Try cdjapan.co.jp or Anime Nation. Last edited by lianncoop on Wed Feb 11, 2004 11:24 pm; edited 1 time in total |

1. This should be in the music forum.
2. Which episode? 3. There are several soundtracks to my knowledge, try shopping around on animenation.com and such. EDIT: Wow...we both posted almost the exact same thing. Creepy. Last edited by Nagisa on Wed Feb 11, 2004 11:24 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I think he implying about the "central themes aka insert songs" and I'm aware of only three:the chior one,the one in 128,and the one in 108 and up. I wish I knew there names but I don't.

I think he is implying about the "central themes aka insert songs" and I'm aware of only three:the chior one,the one in 128 which is called Graduation, Farewells are for Tomorrow" and it's performed by Tackey & Tsubasa (former members of V6). Source is http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-13309/epid-271658/ ,and the one in 108 and up is sung by children I think. I wish I knew there names but I don't know much about the central themes. My favorite one would be the Farewells and the children song.

Just bought the Music CD "Best Of Inuyasha" and it's awesome.
You can get it at http://www.[This URL is a known Bootlegging website]/cd_list2.asp?categoryno=22 |

There ARE legitimate overseas versions of anime CD's out there. Are you sure you have a bootleg?

Humor me. Which overseas (i.e. import) CD companies are legitimate? |

Well, they got it from a known bootlegging site and I doubt they paid about $42 for it. I'm pretty sure that they got a bootleg. |

Avex Asia (Initial D, Inuyasha, One Piece, etc) and Sony [insert country] are the biggest two. There are others, but since I don't buy overseas versions, I don't know the name of the labels. |

That's actually a very resourceful answer, one that I wasn't expecting.
But, I don't believe Sony Taiwan has ever sold anime CDs. I'm not sure about Sony Hong Kong, but since I suspect it'd be older, it probably has sold some at some point. Avex Asia doesn't have any anime CDs in their current catalog either. Again, they might've had some in the past, though.. they're pretty old (1988, I think?) The potential's there, certainly, and it answers my (poorly phrased) question... But I've looked, and as near as I can tell, there aren't any legitimate Asian anime CDs (Isn't it strange that we somehow define Japan as being external to Asia? There's a reason for it). |

I'm pretty sure it's a bootleg...It's got the Alion logo on the back. The "Hokutonoken Premium Best" CD I bought has a Smile Face on it which was also made in Taiwan. And to think I was going to spend some big bucks on that web site...
But both music CDs are really awesome!!! Reminds me when I was growing up in Okinawa. |
