Evangelion tattoos

hi all,

im posting to see if anyone out there has a photo (or link to one) of the "family tree" looking image that scrolls in the background at the beginning of the opening credits of Evangelion: Neon Genesis. I've always thought that would make a great full length back tattoo, and im taking the plunge!

also, if anyone actually knows what that symbol/drawing represents, i'd love to hear about it. any info would be useful! i seem to remember there being a ton of information on one of the early releases of the dvd box sets (if memory serves, each disc had some extra info that went really deep into the symbolism of the show...), but i cant find that set anymore, and i dont remember what that drawing represented.

anyway, thanks for the help! please no flaming Smile

You will regret any tattoo you get that will in any way represent pop culture, even something popular like Evangelion.

Not so... Me and 5 of my friends used to be in a local gaming league and we all sport matching tattoo's of our old logo (The logo is flaming computer with a picture of supercharged chevy 350 inside of the computer and the league name above it. I know it sounds lame in text, but if you saw it you would say otherwise.) and our gaming nicknames in stylish lettering underneath.

I always thought people would make fun of me and call me a nerd, but I actually get tons of compliments.


I forgot to add that I personally would have no problems sporting a tattoo of Asuka or Rei! Like what you like, don't worry about what everyone else says.
