Yes, I believe the 'epic' will have to suffice to describe this video.
I get what you mean, but at the same time, the "art" of AMV creation can only be taken so far I think. It's always going to be a sound track overlayered on video. |

 Aww, I love this. I was especially happy that Viral's woman was in it! I've always thought that song was really stupid (I still do), but the video was fun. (I would have much preferred if they used the opening song.. I love that song!).

I only hope that the movies can live up to the TV series, and if they do, that's saying something (in my opinion at least). I would rather not have my view of something I like be tarnished by a mediocre retelling/expanding (yes, I do realize that's unfair for the original). But, I do have high hopes.

I'm sorry you don't like the studio or the series. However, a lot of fans do. Some people probably think just as negatively about say...Digimon. Everyone has different tastes. ^_~ Luckily it's not just 4chan who likes Gurren Lagann. I'm very much not interested in 4chan...at all. It's the asshole of the internet. I know about a club full of people who loved the series and most are not part of 4chan.

Yeah, it's epic alright.
Gatsu, the clip is not just an anime music video. It's new footage featuring Kamina and Viral working together and Viral's waifu being a part of the show. I call that epic. I loved the show and the music (the rap is great). So I really look forward to the movies. Also, fantasy. Armors and sword. fudge yeah! |
