So I was randomly shopping at Walmart last night and strolled by the DVD section, when the shiny new box of DBZ season 5 caught my eye. I couldn't believe it, since it's not supposed to come out for another 10 days!
Needless to say I bought it on the spot.

*facepalm* I'm pretty schocked. I wonder if someone's going to lose their job?

Breaking a street date for anime doesn't seem to matter cause... well i don't know why but street dates seem to be broken constantly. Maybe such a small market that no one really cares.
But if you brake the Harry Potter street date, prepare to pay the price... DDD.

I'm seriously thinking about buying these digitally remastered boxsets of the Dragonball Z seasons. (1-5 so far) I have one question though. Can you watch these in original japanese language w/ english subtitles?

Yes, the boxsets have the options for both the Japanese w/ subtitles and English dubbed versions (and the English versions also have the option of watching with the original music or the music made for the dub).

The quality of the dvd is also pretty good, it's a pretty clean transfer in most places in the show. The exception would be the first few episodes, some of which had weak encoding. That was resolved pretty soon though (I think after disc 1 or 2)
