I hope this doesn't affect their licensing too badly and we'll still be able to get the next volumes in English. I've really been enjoying both their works.

It sucks that Mori and Irie both have to move their series AGAIN. They are both putting out consistently gorgeous and compelling work. Their stuff deserves to be celebrated, not shunted aside. Hopefully a good publisher snaps them up fast.

I really hope they manage to fine a new magazine to publish their works. " A Bride's Tale" is a one-of-a-kind manga.

It's surprising that A Bride's Story hasn't been picked up for an anime.
Mori makes less explored Mongolia a very rich setting filled with wonderful characters that would appeal to history-cultural-buffs and slice-of-life crowds with action, romance, and comedy. My guess is that the studios are afraid they won't get enough animation talent for all those horses and horse riding scenes, and they have the good sense to not tarnish this masterpiece and their reputations with a poor quality crappy cgi production. So it'd have to be time consuming and expensive at a Studio Ghibli level, so that probably answers my question. Also, it'd be neat if they did a remake and complete adaptation of Emma. |

Ah man, I hope they find good homes soon, they're both great series by great creators.
