I wonder what these world-class studios are.

SIX PEOPLE.
And a law that enforces a minimum wage for 1h of work for animators? They're working at 200 yen/hour because they are working by task and the bare minimum for the common people is more than 1000 yen/hour nation wide (average). The cost of projects will skyrocket, so what? It's better to exploit people to make art? And a law that enforces a percentage of royalties (even only on profits, to be fair for the risk of failure) for any project? Few projects will get made because it won't be as profitable as before? So what? It's better to exploit people to make art? It's better to have no anime at all than to use people as slaves just because you can do it. You're the government people, you can make these laws. You just don't want to do it. |

Tokyo Movie Shinsha (TMS) is trying to do its part (on the 19th min mark) - training animators for free and changing the production committee system wherein the animation studio benefits in the profits ("Unlimited Produce" project), such as the Undead Unlock anime with David Production studio
