One of those odd shows that seem to scream out that I should like it, and I gave it three episodes (with some fast forwarding) but it barely results in a chuckle.
Oh well, If you enjoy it, I'm glad.

Welp, personally, I still do, though I will admit there's a bit of a diminishing returns thing going on as the WTF novelty wears off.

Kinda agree with you.
I find this show more cute/adorable than funny, which is nothing wrong per se. But since this show is a comedy, I would like it to make me laugh, and frankly, it doesn't. I have been cruising through the episodes so far, which I don't mind doing for a light-hearted show.

I think My Deer is very much a show that requires you to like dumb and random jokes/situations. I can appreciate a show that allows me to turn my brain off and just be amused at the dumb situations that are presented before me. That said, this week's episode did introduce several new characters that can be called quirky and might help keep things from going stale for some.

I love random, it's the shouty reaction shows I often have a problem with. And some didn't come off as random to me as it may have for others. Like the game show bit is something I've maybe seen way more often than others.
Just about the only bit that got an audible laugh from me in last week's episode was the moth horde covering Shoko's face.

Well, this week's episode had a bit of story in it...maybe? It is hard to take any part of the show seriously but it tried to create some kinda lore it seems. We also had some action for a change (kudos for that explosion) and Neko who is a good non shouty foil.

Okay, I admit it: the "baka na" / "banana" bit made me chuckle. It's stupid but it got me.

I do think at this point the janky cgi deer have earned their place as endearing, and making them more in line with everything else in the show would only be a downside.
The surprises continue to be great, like I burst out laughing when the antler blew up the gym. I think a part of it was that they didn't need to animate the inside caving in, but did it anyway.

The 6th episode is the first one I have mixed feelings on, the first half anyway. Seems like many short gags with no build up do not really work for me. The second half was fun though with wearing deer skin and befriending a ball of tentacles(?) as surprises, the 4th wall also very much not a thing.

The deer skin actually had me end up with tears in my eyes, the exact kind of surprising and disturbing imagery to make a good anime comedy. Also, it came right after it made a Bambi reference, mostly about the fear of Disney copyright.

This week's episode was rather varied with a deer fashion show (well, the prep for it anyway), a deer streaming channel (lots of streaming this season it seems) and a visit to a cafe (yup, no normal person in this show). Some jokes are misses but I am thankful that the show is not becoming predictable.

This week had another good episode, both episode 7 and 8 are pretty out there with their segments and are rather creative/insane. I like how it is becoming increasingly unclear whether Torako is the only sane one or in fact the outcast not getting how their deer world functions.

That Full Metal Jacket bit must be the most random thing this show has dished out by far.

And so ends a very dumb but for me personally amusing show. Nokotan never reached the hype that the song/trailer created for it before the season started but it did succeed in being difficult to predict every week. Not all jokes landed but enough to get a few chuckles out of me every week.

Final:
5.5/10.
I give that 0.5 because the final episode is just so over-the-top zany that I have to give it. But overall, nah, the show never clicked with me. I'm fine with the show just throwing gags in the bag—anime references, fourth-wall bits, whatever—but they just don't hit the mark for me. Sure, it makes for a passable lighthearted viewing, but that's about it.
