The old man know about the game plot from his daughter's the playthrough and rambling. But the series' real charm is the contrast between her young lady appearance and her old man's experiences (as a worker and as a father). His real daughter and wife also watch his shenanigans in the game world from his original world (through the game). He isn't creepy, just... Well, feels like that "how do you do kids" meme except the guy looks like an ojou-sama.

They kinda do, but the guy couldn't hear/notice them.
