Bye Bye Earth not making it is a Bummer. Thought, that was one of the most promising new shows this season. A bit suprised about that honestly. There seems to be exactly one anime each season, that I like and doesn't make it. I don't know, if this will be as good as Yatagarasu, but if so then maybe it could also get voted in for its second cour (if the rumours of it having 20 episodes are true).

Apart from that, all of the series I'm looking forward to are here. Elusive Samurai is the clear early standout, but I'm also happy, that Makeine made it in despite premiering so late.

I'll miss the Mission Yozakura reviews. I quite enjoy the series and it's always a bit of a letdown when the second cour of a series doesn't make the cut. I'd say that as a general principle even if the reviews were of a series I wasn't watching or reading the reviews of. It's the completionist in me.

I Parry Everything, Failure Frame and Ossan Newbie Adventurer were three anime I lump together as being similar that I initially would have liked to see reviewed. After the second episode of Failure Frame I'm less bothered that it missed out. It seems a bit too straightforward with not enough plot or character to actually write episodic reviews. The other two series seem like they have a bit more going on.

The series that I voted on as more of a gamble since I haven't seen it is Terminator Zero. Once I actually see it I might decide it's not worth episodic reviews. However I am very curious about it.

I’m pleasantly surprised that Sakuna made the cut!

Wonderful Pretty Cure still deserves better, but at least it wasn’t beat by Male Wish Fulfillment Isekai Harem #1873453.

Sad to see Sengoku Youko part 2 not make the list considering it's the best part of the story.

Wow, by far the most I've ever seen make it from what I'm watching, only Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita. and Code Geass didn't make it, with Cardfight Vanguard Divinez I'm pretty sure not being on the poll and Ramen Akaneko not really having the content that would be worth reviewing.

I voted for Elusive Samurai but after watching the second episode some of my enthusiasm has dropped off. It just didn't vibe with me for whatever reason.

I also am a bit disappointed that Bye Bye Earth missed the cut. However having only seen the first episode it's a bit more of an unkown quantity than some of the other shows.

Looks like everything I'm watching made the cut.
Which admittedly isn't much, but still nice to see.

Especially glad Elusive Samurai is there. That show deserves all the love and attention it can get.

Cool, I think everything I care about made it, except Terminator, but I had a feeling it wouldn’t make the cut.

Damn, RIP Failure Frame, Parry This You Filthy Casual, and Shinmai Ossan. Also MahoAku, but that one's a short so it'll probably get a seasonal review at least. It's surprising that AJ didn't take 2.5D.

Shame about Bye Bye, Earth, but it's nice to see Yatagarasu make the cut this time.

Rozé of the Recapture went "straight to Episode Reviews." (Incidentally, just like Suicide Squad ISEKAI did.)

A touch sad that Yozakura didn't make the cut, since that show has been pleasant comfort food, even if I'm not at all surprised. On the contrary, delighted that YATAGARASU is getting a continuation, however unsurprising.

Mildly surprised to see Wistoria. I guess others, like me, got the same magical school underdog itch. And it does look just gorgeous.

I hope Pseudo Harem and Senpai is an Otokonoko keep giving stuff worth talking about. Although, really, it's just the former I'm worried about; even if both were hit with some pretty weak production values and the chibi switches in the latter give painful whiplash, there's some real meat to that story by comparison (and I say that as a fan of both).

Oh yeah it felt like something was missing from what I voted for (besides Pretty Cure, which I wouldn't expect at this point but one can hope), and Sengoku Youko and The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant were it. Sorta unfortunate in both cases, but oh well, at least Sakuna made it in!

Pretty solid list, I would have liked for Parry to make it in but at least Suicide Squad did.

I'm also a little sad for no Bye Bye, Earth, and really sad for no Sengoku Youko. As a manga reader, I'm really excited for part 2; it's gonna go places.

With that said, I'm glad to see Yatagarasu made it in.
