New visual looks interesting, since the game is being adapted to animation. Hoepfully this part won't suffer the same fate as the 1st part, in terms of delay.

Wow, I didn’t expect it would air this year, I thought they would at least air it in 2025, but they better not even think about delaying it like with season 1, I don’t wanna even hear about anything Covid related issues!

There are far fewer hours of game left to adapt with route C but it´s at least as eventful as what came before in S1. Let´s hope people return as I could see Nier 1 working as a 1 cour show, with about 2 OVA eps based on the remaster´s epilogue, if the most complete final run is used from the start. That game´s replay gimmick sucked. Dito for a quick Drakengard 1 show. 4 1/2 hours of nihilism and madness.

Nice! I do think they will also adapt Nier. And I like the they are adapting canon side content from the novels.
Nier Reincarnation would also make a good follow up to Automata. I hope we get a new console game announcement too.

Honestly, I could see them adapting route C into two episodes, then cramming route D/E into the remaining ten.
