Nearly all JoJo novels are crazier than a shithouse rat, so is this one, and none have been confirmed to be canonical so far but that is by design. Araki gives the people who adapt his work 100% carte blanche. It´s how we got prostitute Trish and 36 Kars on Mars.
Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak´s manga version needed another volume to breathe but was solid overall and lovely to look at. rey infinito isn´t at the top of my adaptation wishlist but I would read one. All LNs so far, most have fan translations: https://jojowiki.com/Category:Light_Novels |

The novel version of the Crazy Diamond/Hol Horse story definitely had more room to breath. I wound up sort of annoyed they'd tricked me into buying the manga adaption first. They did tweak a few set pieces to be more dramatic visually, so there are strengths in both versions, but the novel really reminds you why Kadono's the best in the game. Hopefully this and the new Boogiepop novel means he's writing more again...

I really wish Viz would license the novels already cause they're such a trip to read. Kouhei Kadono was the best out of the bunch but Otsuichi did pretty well with his novel. I'm curious what a Ryogho Narita Jojo novel would look like considering Kadono's influence on his style.
