Ayakashi Triangle is one of those series where I really wanted it to be something it wasn't, which isn't fair to the show, but still frustrating. After doing a solid job with a typical Battle Shonen like Black Cat and then a solid Ecchi with To Love Ru, I was kinda hoping Ayakashi would be the perfect merge of those two being both a legitimately hype battle shonen and a fun ecchi, but then he goes and makes a gender swapper, my least favorite sub-genre ever. Again, I know this isn't fair to Ayakashi, if that's what Yabuki wants to make, that's what he should make and clearly this isn't for me, I hope the people who like this kinda stuff were able to enjoy it. Here's hoping his next work will be closer to what I'm personally looking for, but if not I hope Yabuki continues to find success

And by Monday they mean Japan time, meaning it's up now, in Japanese at least.

Kinda' sad to see it end, though 16 volumes ain't bad. And it wrapped up with everything, if not resolved, then at least put on courses with obvious conclusions.

Ironic that it's ending before the anime's last episode could air, though.

Sad it's ending, it's a ton of fun. 16 volumes is a strong continuation though and I hope Yabuki Kentarou continues to do something his style and way since it's not easy to find such a master.

Ayakashi Triangle was fun, and had its nice moments. Now... is it time for the To Love Ru continuation? Laughing

I'm looking forward to checking out the manga myself, especially since it won't have all the censorship that kind of ruined the anime.

I just wish the anime would have been uncensored like the manga is.

The uncensored version is exclusive to the Japanese Blu-rays.
Volume 1's release is just a few days away. Smile

Well, it was a fun ride (with some questionable moments), but in the end, a mix of action/ecchi where the most lewd character was Suzu. Very Happy

But this series' end is a big step forward, spoiler[with a full accepted female/yuri couple, dating, no "open to interpretation" thing, even if the idea of "dating as boy is the real thing" is still there. Although if Matsuri thinks that Suzu is not going to jump over her to do 18+ things the moment they are alone, she's in for a big surprise.]

I fell off on following the chapter updates for this series due to real life, but I hope that it ended well enough on its’ own terms to satisfy the readers. I wish Yabuki luck on his next work after a comfortable break.

To be perfectly honest, though, I sincerely hope that he will reunite with Hasemi and make another To Love Ru series in the near future. If he doesn’t, I’ll be pretty bummed out, but I’ll respect his decision to work on what he wants to do.

Nah, Hasemi is not part of that, considering all wife shenanigans with Yabuki wife happened way back in 2009 (and was one of the reasons for the original To Love Ru ending and moving it with To Love Ru Darkness).

The reason of the split is unknown, though most likely Yabuki got just bored of doing TLR.
