Buying this just to show there’s an audience for White Album 2.

Chanes for new anime are zero, so I am already thinking reading it... as it is (unless they actully make official English release).

A lot of people buy the game in Japanese and just patch it. I was skeptical of White Album 2 but it really was that good. I want to replay it every year now.

So this game gets greenlit and Dungeon Travellers in the weekly column is a notable example of a no-go on Steam. This started out as 18+ but not Dungeon Travellers cleared for ESRB on other platforms and distribution channels.

By all means get this game, it's great. Just remember that Steam being what it is this could get pulled for no good reason whatsoever at short notice. Don't dally if a potential buyer.

A couple notes:
- This is based on the PS3 version of WA1, which never had any 18+ content.
- Simply having 18+ content does not get games rejected from Steam; sexualizing minors does. The characters in WA1 are in college.
- It's not unheard of, but it's very rare for Steam to retroactively remove a game from the store after it's been approved, which WA1 already is, and DT2 never was.

Fair enough, but the "sexualizing minors" part is so inconsistently applied it's farcical. Also, removals have been executed because of localised complaints from national governments (religion being quite common). Unlikely as it is for this game, removal is not 100% unlikely and opaque policies can change at any time.

Already on my Steam wishlist. Hopefully the second remake is in the works as well.

as i know there's a fan translation out there for WA2 including those coda expansion i think.
I only hope the translation isn't a mess especially the recent controversy involving NukiTashi that has questionable translation choices.

Then it was still in-progress I heard people complaining that the process of translation was very bumpy that affects the quality, but the ones who actully read the final version are saying it is good.

It’s really good. There was clearly a lot of love and thought out behind it. In my 30+ hours of reading I think I encountered a handful of spelling errors at most.
