Hopefully it has a more bearable schedule for the staff to work on. The number of ADs rising every episode and most of them being repeated names shows how tight it was.

Considering the manga already had enough chapters to potentially start S2 production right after the first one production ended and the expected popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't have to wait more than next spring, not that it would be a good idea the rush though. Anyway, nice work for S1, I already loved the manga but the anime sublimated it.

Perhaps the least surprising anime announcement of the year to date.
That when it will come was not announced suggests that we won't see it before the Winter 2024 season at the earliest. Still, the last episode set itself up so well for a continuation that it'll probably be the most-anticipated title of whatever season it comes out in. |

If it was airing this year, it would've been announced already, because it would imply it's a split cour and because Fall is literally the only available time left. |

Having caught up on the manga and watched 4 episodes of the anime, my internal reaction was “no duh”
I’m just glad the anime did it justice.

I hate this anime's existence solely because it made the streaming service with the worst video quality and subtitles more popular. Nothing quite ruins a day like finding out that something you were excited for is being held hostage by HIDIVE
